We were honored to welcome Tomi Adeyemi, acclaimed author of Children of Blood and Bone, as our keynote speaker for the 9th Annual Book Fest and Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Adeyemi's work amplifies Black identity, culture, and imagination on a global stage. This event was presented by the Indianapolis Public Library's Center for Black Literature & Culture, this annual event celebrates the African American experience through art, literature, and storytelling.
